The Images division college and college students conduct a rigorous investigation into the character and meaning of photographic illustration and its function in contemporary tradition. Trendy photographers who have continued this tradition embrace Bernd and Hilla Becher (1931-2007) and (b.1934), the influential husband and spouse crew who based the Dusseldorf School, whose followers embody the postmodernist camera artist Andreas Gursky (b.1955).

Students will study key moments in French history, from the Romans on, via the Middle Ages and the Revolution, they will be introduced to such themes as political migrations and colonialism, and will explore town from quite a lot of points of views together with literary and creative exchanges, city history, architecture, and ecology.
